ACCOUNT HOLDERS
Please note that unless otherwise agreed, all accounts will be invoiced on a weekly basis. Payment for each
invoice is expected within seven days unless prior arrangements have been made. If you choose to make
payment via direct payment, please ensure that the payee accepts all charges and remits the full amount of
the invoice to IrishDriven. Ensure that the remittance advice includes the invoice number and is directed to
IrishDriven.
BOOKING ACCEPTANCE POLICY
IrishDriven reserves the right to accept or decline any booking at its discretion, taking into consideration
factors such as schedule availability, fleet capacity, and operational feasibility. While we strive to
accommodate all requests, circumstances such as limited availability, scheduling conflicts, or logistical
constraints may necessitate the refusal of certain bookings. Our priority is to provide a reliable and
efficient service to our customers, and therefore, we may need to decline bookings that cannot be
accommodated within our operational parameters. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this
matter.

PAYMENTS:
By using IrishDriven to book and pay for Chauffeuring Services means you acknowledge and agree to pay the fees associated with booking the Chauffeuring Services (” Charges“) as described either at the time of reservation at checkout. Your payment method will not be charged until after we Accept your booking. IrishDriven is not responsible for any fees or charges assessed by third parties or any errors in the processing of payments by third parties, including any errors that result from third-party negligence, improper transmission of payment information, your mistaken submission of payment information, or your submission of erroneous payment information.

PAYMENT PROCESSING SERVICES:

IrishDriven role:
Part of the functionality of the Services allows Clients to pay and IrishDriven to accept payments for Chauffeur Services, including card-based payments initiated with cards bearing the trademarks of various credit or debit card companies (collectively, the ” Networks“). IrishDriven is not a bank and does not offer banking services. IrishDriven facilitates the processing of payments through Stripe who receive from Clients. This means that we collect, analyze and relay information generated in connection with these payments.

Authorization:
You authorize us to process payments in accordance with the Services, using the payment information you have supplied.

Credit Card Authorization
Upon addition of a new payment method, IrishDriven through Stripe may seek authorization of your selected payment method for verification purposes to ensure that the cost of Chauffeuring Services will be covered and protect against unauthorized behavior. The authorization is not a charge. However, it may reduce your available credit by the authorization amount until your applicable Network’s next processing cycle. Should the amount of our authorization exceed the total funds on deposit in your account, you may be subject to overdraft or non-sufficient funds charges by the institution issuing your debit or credit card. We cannot be held responsible for these charges and are unable to assist you in recovering them from your issuing institution.

IrishDriven role:
CONFIRMATIONS
After your reservation is made you will receive a first email confirming that we received your request.
Please allow us up to 12 Hours to review your reservation.
Upon booking, a unique reservation number will be assigned and emailed to the client. We kindly request that you carefully review the confirmation for accuracy and inform us of any discrepancies. Should any changes or cancellations be necessary, please reference your reservation number.
HIRE PRICE
The hire price quoted at the time of reservation will remain valid and guaranteed, provided that no changes are made to the itinerary following the confirmation. Any alterations made to the journey itinerary after the reservation has been confirmed will result in additional charges and will be billed accordingly.
In the event that an incorrect service type is requested through our online portal, we will make the necessary adjustments to the correct service type, and the price will be recalculated accordingly.
PRICES:
Please note that our quotations are based on the duties outlined by clients and our estimated time to depart from our base to complete the requested services before returning. Additional journeys or duties requested by clients on the day of service will be subject to additional charges at the agreed hourly rate or as otherwise specified in the terms of the agreement.
SPECIFIC VEHICLES:
If you have a specific vehicle requirement, please indicate your preference at the time of booking; otherwise, IrishDriven reserves the right to provide a vehicle that best suits the booking class.
Waiting Time:
Unforeseen circumstances may prevent you from arriving at the pickup location on time. To accommodate such situations, we offer a complimentary waiting time service.
For airport pickups, the first 45 minutes of waiting time is included in the hire price and will begin from the moment the plane has landed. Any additional waiting time beyond this will be charged at our hourly rate, based on our current tariff at the time of the journey.
For all other pickup locations, the first 30 minutes of waiting time is included in the hire price and will begin from the scheduled pickup time, even if the driver arrives early. Should you request your driver to wait, the next 30 minutes will be charged at half of the hourly rate for the chosen vehicle. Thereafter, any additional waiting time will be charged at our hourly rate based on our current tariff at the time of the journey.
PRIVATE FLIGHTS:
We shall verify the precise arrival time by consulting the local Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) and subsequently adapt our pick-up schedule accordingly unless the booker specifies otherwise. Any extra waiting period will incur an additional fee based on our current hourly rate, as stated in our tariff at the time of the trip.
Amendments to Bookings:
Please provide accurate details when booking our services. In the event that changes are required after the confirmation has been issued, please refer to your unique reservation number. Please note that IrishDriven reserves the right to decline any amendments to the booking if they are submitted less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time.
Costs and Surcharges:
As per our terms and conditions, any costs incurred during the journey, including parking, tunnel, and toll costs, will be charged at cost. Should any parking tickets be issued to our drivers/vehicles as a result of passenger instructions, the client named on the booking will be responsible for covering these additional costs. Please note that a 20% surcharge will apply for journeys taking place between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00.
Cancellations
As part of our terms and conditions, either the booker or the passenger must initiate any cancellation of the booking. The cancellation should be communicated to IrishDriven via email at info@irishdriven.com, including your confirmation number. Please ensure that the confirmation number is clearly stated in your cancellation email.
Business Class, First Class, Luxury Vehicles booked for Transfers or Airport Transfers:
As per our terms and conditions, any costs incurred during the journey, including parking, tunnel, and toll
costs, will be charged at cost. Should any parking tickets be issued to our drivers/vehicles as a result of
passenger instructions, the client named on the booking will be responsible for covering these additional
costs. Please note that a 20% surcharge will apply for journeys taking place between the hours of 22:00 and
06:00.
Cancellations:
As part of our terms and conditions, either the booker or the passenger must initiate any cancellation of
the booking. The cancellation should be communicated to IrishDriven via email at info@irishdriven.com,
including your confirmation number. Please ensure that the confirmation number is clearly stated in your
cancellation email.
Business Class, First Class, Luxury Vehicles booked for Transfers or Airport Transfers:
Our cancellation policy stipulates that you are entitled to cancel your reservation without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. However, if you choose to cancel within 24 to 12 hours of the pick-up time, you will be charged 50% of the quoted rate. If you provide less than 12 hours’ notice, the penalty charge will be 100%.
Fails to Arrive:
For transfers and airport transfers, if the client fails to arrive at their designated collection point, no
refund will be issued. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they are present at the
specified location at the agreed-upon time.
Short-term Hire [4 hours]:
Our cancellation policy stipulates that you are entitled to cancel your reservation without charge up to 24
hours before the scheduled pick-up time. However, if you choose to cancel within 24 to 12 hours of the
pick-up time, you will be charged 50% of the quoted rate. If you provide less than 12 hours’ notice, the
penalty charge will be 100%.
Daily Hire [8 hours] or As Directed Services:
Our cancellation policy stipulates that you are entitled to cancel your reservation without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. However, if you choose to cancel within 24 to 12 hours of the pick-up time, you will be charged 50% of the quoted rate. If you provide less than 12 hours’ notice, the penalty charge will be 100%.
Multi-Day Hire/Tours:
- If the client doesn’t require the vehicle on any of the days between the start and finish of a multi-day hire, there will be a standard daily hire chargeable.
- Driver’s overnight expenses, including meals and overnight accommodation, will be charged in full for days not required.
- In the case of cancellations during the tour or unforeseen circumstances, please note that what you have booked is fully chargeable. We will provide an invoice to facilitate the client’s travel insurance claim. Our cancellation policy stipulates that you are entitled to cancel your reservation without charge up to 7 days before the scheduled pick-up date. However, if you choose to cancel within 7 days of the pick-up date, you will be charged 100% of the quoted rate.
Non-Refundable Booking Fee for Tour Itineraries:
- - Our Non-Refundable Booking Fee of 25% is charged to enable our team of Travel Advisors to invest valuable time in researching, crafting, and curating an unforgettable vacation for you. The deposit you invest with IrishDriven is an investment in your future tour, ensuring cherished memories with family and friends.
- All Booking Fees (deposits), which are non-refundable, are treated as a Lifetime Deposit in the event of cancellation of a tour at any time prior to departure.
- In order to postpone a tour, we require 28 days’ notice for full-service bookings (accommodation, transport, experiences) and 7 days’ notice for transport-only bookings.
- Deposits paid are always lifetime deposits; which means you can reschedule your trip to a time that suits you, without ever losing your deposit.
Weddings:
Our cancellation policy stipulates that you are entitled to cancel your reservation without charge up to 5 days before the scheduled pick-up date. However, if you choose to cancel within 5 days of the pick-up date, you will be charged 100% of the quoted rate.
Please Note:
In certain circumstances, refunds will not be issued. Additionally, if a refund is to be processed via credit card or wire transfer, a 7.5% handling fee will be charged. This fee is necessary to cover the costs incurred by IrishDriven in processing the refund. If requested, a cancellation invoice will be provided for your records.
Failure to Appear:
If the client fails to appear at the scheduled pick-up point, no refund will be granted. It is our standard practice to attempt communication with either the client or the booking contact before instructing the driver to depart.
Diverted Flights:
In case of a diverted flight leading to the client’s redirection to a different airport while the assigned
driver has already arrived at the original airport as per the agreed scheduled time, the full hire charge
requested by the client will be imposed, and no refund shall be provided. It is our standard practice to
attempt communication with either the client or the booking contact before instructing the driver to depart.
Should you require a refund from the airline, we will issue an invoice accordingly.
Service Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances:
While we make every effort to depart with ample time to arrive at the designated pick-up location on schedule, please note that we will not be responsible for any onward travel disruptions that are out of our control, such as traffic, road closures, severe weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such situations, we will make every effort to notify the booker or client of the delay and provide an updated arrival time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these situations.
Insurance:
IrishDriven provides full insurance coverage for their vehicles and drivers, including Public Liability Insurance. This ensures that clients are protected against any potential liabilities that may arise during their journey, giving them peace of mind. While IrishDriven does not offer travel insurance, it is recommended that clients obtain appropriate coverage for added protection against unforeseen events during their travels.
Route and Timing Disclaimer:
The route taken by IrishDriven is determined at their discretion, with the aim of selecting the most efficient route possible. In the event of heavy traffic or unexpected delays, the driver may alter the route to ensure passengers arrive at their destination on time. It is important to note that IrishDriven cannot be held responsible for any missed appointments, travel arrangements, or delays that may occur during the journey. As such, it is recommended that clients allow ample time for their travel plans and take into consideration any potential delays that may arise. By doing so, clients can help ensure a stress-free and timely journey.
Child Safety and Seating Policy:
As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers, IrishDriven provides child seats for our vehicles. To guarantee the availability of a child seat for your journey, we kindly request that you make this request at the time of booking. Please note that it is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to check the child seat and ensure it is correctly installed in the vehicle.
As part of our policy, we emphasise that the parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and well-being of the child at all times while in the vehicle. We take this matter seriously and strive to provide a secure and comfortable environment for all passengers, particularly children, during their journey with IrishDriven.
Smoking Policy:
At IrishDriven, we prioritise the health and well-being of all our passengers, which is why we strictly prohibit smoking in all our vehicles. It is important to note that on 1 January 2016, the Irish government enacted the “Protection of Health (Tobacco Smoke in Mechanically Propelled Vehicles) Bill 2014,” which prohibits smoking in any public service vehicle, including those operated by IrishDriven.
We take the enforcement of this legislation seriously, and we kindly request that all passengers respect our no-smoking policy for the duration of their journey. Smoking poses significant health risks to all passengers, including our drivers, and we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
In the event that a passenger is found to be smoking in our vehicle, we reserve the right to terminate the journey immediately and take appropriate action as required by law. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter and thank you for your adherence to our smoking policy.
Dogs Policy:
At IrishDriven, pets are not allowed, except Guide Dogs, but we kindly ask that clients inform us at the time of booking so that we can provide an appropriate vehicle. Owners are responsible for their dog at all times, and we ask that dogs are well-behaved and clean before entering the vehicle.
For the safety of all passengers, we require large dogs to travel in dog boxes. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
RESPONSIBILITY:
IrishDriven assumes no responsibility for the following circumstances: delays resulting from unfavourable weather conditions; loss or damage of any belongings belonging to the passengers, unless caused by a staff member; delays caused by road traffic accidents, other traffic conditions, or natural disasters; and any personal possessions or items left behind in the vehicle by a passenger are at their own risk. Please note that a fee will be charged for the delivery of any items that are left behind in our vehicles.
Damage Policy:
At IrishDriven, we take pride in maintaining our fleet of vehicles to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. We kindly ask that all passengers treat our vehicles with respect and care during their journey.
If any of our vehicles are damaged or soiled because of a passenger’s actions, we reserve the right to charge the client for the full amount required to rectify the vehicle, as well as for any time lost while the vehicle was taken out of service.

Gratuities:
While gratuities are much appreciated, please note that it is entirely at the client’s discretion whether to provide them. If clients wish to make a gratuity payment, they may request that it be charged to their account.
